Kimberley Walsh's Comic Relief performance sent Twitter into meltdown last night.

Singing her new single, 'Defying Gravity' for Comic Relief's new series of Let's Dance, the Girls Aloud singer bravely sang live, much to the dismay of her online fans.

One person tweeted: "Kimberley Walsh, there's another song you've ruined. Do not sing musical theatre??.ever."

While someone else posted: "@KimberleyJWalsh Pardon she just murdered that song may it R.I.P"

After a similar response from her singing debut at the National Television Awards 2013, we're guessing Kimberley is used to all the criticism.

She did however look gorgeous in her floor-length gown during the performance.

Kimberley is currently in rehearsals with the rest of Girls Aloud getting ready for their Ten tour.
