Manos: The Hands Of Fate Android Game Review

What is possibly the worst film ever made which was released in 1966 has been made into a game and is now available for the Android platform. Manos: The Hands Of Fate is a game based on the movie of the same title and is developed by FreakZone Games. While the movie has earned the distinction of being the worst one ever made the game on the other hand is a different story as it uses a platform type gameplay that?s comparable to Super Mario Brothers.

Manos The Hands Of Fate

Manos: The Hands of Fate can now be downloaded over at Google Play for $2.49. You will need a device running on at least Android 2.2 as well as 18 MB of storage space.

In the movie, a family is searching for Valley Lodge and happens to pass by a house tended by a caretaker named Torgo. The game follows the same premise as you control Mike whose car breaks down while with his family on a vacation. He then seeks shelter in Valley Lodge which is taken care of by Torgo ?while the master is way?.

The first time you start the game you will immediately notice that it uses the same graphics as the old NES games. The developers said that they are paying homage to the great old school games that were popular in the 80?s and 90?s.

Your character, Mike, will be armed with a pistol to help you defeat the enemies. You?ll meet all sorts of them some of which are easy to kill while some are a little bit harder. You will need to explore the place which is quite large, go out into the desert and discover a dark temple.

The controls are pretty simple with the left side of the screen having the forward and back buttons while the right side of the screen has the two action buttons.

Overall this is a good game to play and is a great homage to the worst movie ever made as well as the best classic games.
